How the leaderboards work
Every hero has 20 boards in four groups. Each board ranks the top 1,000 players, names the first 100 with their Steam names, and can show all time or just the last 30 days.
Mains
Who plays the hero most, wins most and climbs highest.
- Most games: most games played.
- Most wins: most games won.
- Best win rate: highest share of games won.
- Highest rank: highest rank in ranked games on the hero.
Single-game records
The best one ranked game on the hero.
- Massacre: most kills in one game.
- Fat Stacks: most souls in one game.
- Wrecking Ball: most hero damage in one game.
- Headhunter: most critical hits in one game.
- Wingman: most assists in one game.
- Denied: most denies in one game.
- Demolition: most objective damage in one game.
- Jungle Gremlin: most jungle camps cleared in one game.
Career
Every game on the hero added up or averaged per game.
- Body Count: most kills, every game added up.
- The Farmer: most last hits, every game added up.
- Damage Dealer: most hero damage per game.
- Untouchable: fewest deaths per game.
Hall of shame
Records nobody set out to break.
- Respawn Enjoyer: most deaths in one game.
- Stormtrooper: most shots missed in one game.
- Punching Bag: most damage taken in one game.
- Never Quits: most games lost, and still queueing.

Who gets ranked
A player needs some games on the hero before they place, so one lucky game can't top a board:
- Win rate: 100 games all time, 30 in the last 30 days.
- Rank: 20 games all time, 10 in the last 30 days.
- Single-game boards: 20 games all time, 5 in the last 30 days.
- Per-game averages: 100 games all time, 30 in the last 30 days.
Single-game boards count ranked games only, because unranked has odd games in it (a 117-kill, 300,000-soul Haze game) that would own every record.
Where you stack up
Sign in with Steam and each board shows your place on it, and how far you are from the top 100, the top 10, the podium and first. Places past 1,000 on the mains boards are estimated from who sits further down, usually to within a few per cent.
Street Brawl
Street Brawl, the 4v4 mode, has boards of its own, kept apart from standard matches: the most games, the most wins and the best win rate, on every hero and across all of them together, all time or the last 30 days. Win rate needs 100 Street Brawl games on a hero (30 in the last 30 days), or 300 across every hero (100). They're refreshed once a day. Switch to Street Brawl at the top of the page, and see the Street Brawl tier list for how each hero is doing in the mode this week.
Regions
These boards count players in every region together, because deadlock-api does not say where a player lives. For a ladder by region, see Valve's ladder, which has all five regions and a ladder for every hero.
One-tricks
Players who put at least half their games into one hero have boards of their own, for each hero and across every hero.
Where the numbers come from
Standard matches from the community deadlock-api. The 30-day boards are refreshed every 12 hours and the all-time ones every 24. For how each hero is doing this week, see the tier list; for what to buy, the hero builds and the item tier list. Listed and would rather not be? Email hello@chudlock.com and we'll take you off.
