Run a Deadlock cup

Run a cup or a league season for your community. Chudlock takes the sign-ups and check-in, builds the bracket, makes the lobbies and reads each result from the game itself. It is free to run and free to enter.

How it works

Looking for cups…

How it works

  1. Set it up. Pick 1v1 or 6v6, the format, best of 1, 3 or 5, a start time and a limit. You get a link to share.
  2. People sign up. Full teams, solo players you draft into balanced teams, or both. Sign-in is Steam; the Discord bot works too (/cup join).
  3. Check-in. It opens before the start. Anyone who hasn't checked in is left out, and reminders go to players who ask for them.
  4. Play. Each series gets a lobby. Chudlock can make the lobby and send the party code to the two teams, or a captain makes one in the game and enters the match ID.
  5. Results come from the game. Chudlock reads the finished match and checks that every player is on the right team. If anything is off, the organiser decides. Each result links to its match page.

Formats

  • Single elimination: lose once and you are out. Byes go to the top seeds.
  • Double elimination: two losses to go out, with a grand final that resets if the losers-bracket team wins it.
  • Swiss: everyone plays every round against teams on the same score. Nobody is knocked out.
  • League season: a round robin, optionally in divisions and home and away, with a table and a page for every season.

Teams and players are listed with their Steam names. Leaving a cup removes you from it. What cups keep.
